Adobe flags two types of audio: pops and distortion. An audio pop is a sudden increase in audio level (12 dB or more) compared to existing audio levels, but not enough to distort. Audio pops cause these lights at the top to glow yellow. You can even see yellow flags in the Scrub bar, indicating pops while recording. Much more important than pops is distortion.
